What is Gloam Assets?
A privacy-first Android inventory app for your belongings, receipts, serial numbers, and warranty details. Everything stays encrypted on your device — no cloud, no account, no tracking.
Why Android only?
Gloam is a focused native Android app with OS-level offline enforcement. We chose depth over a compromised cross-platform cloud layer.
What if I lose my phone?
Export a ZIP backup from Settings → Data and save it wherever you trust — Google Drive, a PC, or external storage. Reinstall the app and restore. We cannot recover your vault remotely because we never have it.
Does it need internet?
No, for daily use. The app does not request INTERNET or ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE. If you open an insurance policy URL you entered, Android may use the browser outside our app.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Your vault uses SQLCipher for the local database and the device secure store for your app-lock PIN hash.
