Summary
Gloam Assets is a 100% offline inventory app. Your data stays on your device. We do not operate servers, accounts, analytics, or advertising for this app.
Data we collect
We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data.
The app does not include third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
Data stored on your device
The app stores locally on your phone:
- Asset records (names, categories, values, warranty dates, insurance fields, notes)
- Photos and PDF attachments you add
- App settings (theme, currency, overview layout, scanner options)
- An encrypted local database and app-lock PIN hash (in the device secure store)
You control exports (CSV, ZIP backup, PDF) via the system share sheet. Exported files are saved wherever you choose outside the app.
Network access
The app does not request the Android INTERNET or ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions. It does not open network connections for core features.
If you tap an insurance policy link (https URL you entered), the system browser may open that page and use network access outside our app.

Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Request to delete data
Gloam Assets is fully offline. We never receive, store, or have access to your inventory data — we do not operate servers, accounts, or cloud storage for this app. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
To delete your data from your device:
- Open Settings → Data → Erase all local data in the app. This permanently removes all vault data on your phone.
- Uninstall the app if you want to remove the app and its local storage entirely.
Files you exported (CSV, ZIP backup, PDF) outside the app are under your control — delete them wherever you saved them.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
